Golf course
Searles' nine hole resort golf course is now well established. A par-34 course, consisting of three par-3s, five par-4s and one par-5 hole, the course provides challenges for novices and the more experienced alike.
Designed in a links style, the course makes the most of natural features including the winding river and the reed beds. A trip around the course is well worth it - plus our guests receive a discount price per round. What better reasons could there be for packing your clubs! Please note, children under 8 are not allowed on the golf course due to Health & Safety reasons.

Driving Range
For those who like to warm up before taking to the course, or those just looking to practise their skills, our ten-bay undercover driving range is located next to the golf course. The 270 yard range has pitching and chipping targets to hone your short game.
Astro-putting - ideal for kids
Located next to the driving range, the astro-putting course is a fun addition to the golfing facilities and a much more light-hearted approach to honing your skills. Be warned it definitely isn't as easy as it looks! All players must have their own golf clubs.
Bowling Green
Our bowling green built to EBA standards, opened in Spring 2003, is available for use by guests. The green is situated next to the Country Clubhouse and overlooking the larger of the two fishing lakes
Tennis Courts
Searles has two hard-surfaced, fenced tennis courts situated by the Touring Park. These are available for use by all guests and can be hired by the hour from the Country Clubhouse. Tennis racquets and balls are also available for hire.
Fishing Lakes
Located next to the bowling green and Country Club, the two fishing lakes are linked by a cascading weir. Stocked with rudd, roach, tench and carp up to 18lb, the lakes started fishing in Spring 2003. Full day, half-day and hourly tickets are available, with the lakes open daily from 8am (Rules and conditions apply, no keepnets or barbed hooks).
